Do
- Tidy up your space in advance
- Hide any photos and other personal information you do not wish to be captured
- If there are too many things, move them all to one room(preferably the one furthest from the entrance
- Minimize the number of people around during the shoot, as they will need to hide
Don't
- Walk around while the shoot is in progress
- Move items that have already been captured
Take Note
- The Matterport camera relies on 3D data to align, so shifting large objects that have already been captured may cause issues. We request that you tidy up before we arrive to prevent this
- We will capture every part of the space, including the yard & storeroom(if empty), in order to fill out the floor plan
- While we try our best to avoid capturing the camera in reflections, it may appear in some spaces with lots of mirrors
- Outdoor areas such as balconies/roof terraces will be attached to the Virtual Tour as 360 photos
- We will not be able to include public areas such as condo facilities, playgrounds, etc. The Virtual Tour will be limited to the interior and any attached exterior areas - roof terrrace, private carpark, etc.
- Due to the nature of Matterport's processing, there may be small artifacts and misalignments along the edges of some objects. Highly reflective surfaces such as mirrors or glass are especially prone to these, as well as narrow spaces. While we do our best to limit them, they are a physical limitation of the camera and cannot be avoided completely
